Phoenix is the debut album by Jyoti Verhoeff, recorded at Studio Zeezicht and released at the Melkweg Theatre in Amsterdam (Nov/2012). This cd contains six mesmerizing tracks where two musicians perform like one united spirit. Dark, dreamy and neo-classical sounds of piano, cello and angelic voices welcome you in the marvelous land of imagination. The music of Jyoti Verhoeff is often compared to Kate Bush and Enigma, and rightfully so, as there are similarities in styles and soundscapes.
