About the Album:
Comfort Zone is a concept album, which clearly reflects Izekson’s approach towards music: a strictly acoustic production that blends skillful acoustic guitar playing together with carefully written arrangements for string section & other orchestral instruments. Prophecy Playground’s songs deal with one’s struggle for inner-self improvement, the lack of purpose in the virtual age, and a perpetual longing for a home – both in the physical and the spiritual one.  All tracks written & composed by Or Izekson, Except “Eleanor’s Cake” written & composed by Kevin Ayers, “Nobody Cares For Me” written & composed by Mississippi John Hurt. “A Cat In The Sack” composed by Or Izekson & Yonatan Marcus.  Released February 15, 2020 via Friendly Folk Records.

About the Artist:

Prophecy Playground is an alternative-folk project founded by guitarist singer-songwriter and composer Or Izekson.  Combining gently written melancholic songs and instrumental themes with a carefully arranged string section deriving elements from classical European chamber music, Prophecy Playground’s music creates a semi-forgotten kind of Folk which combines the melancholic with mysterious and mellow with dramatic, thus offering a new and unique take on contemporary Folk music.
