ABOUT THE ALBUM:
A Temporary State of Bliss has a penchant for the traditional progressive rock like Camel, King Crimson, Genesis, but this time the duo has added many other elements (ranging from progressive to metal to funk) to keep their interest intact and the music fresh. In true old-school prog rock fashion, the tracks push the boundaries of time and space. The four compositions, make up forty-four minutes of music. This sophomoric achievement is still exploring the instrumental possibilities of progressive rock, only this time Residuos Mentales have upped the tension with an even more adventurous album.  Residuos Mentales is a studio project from Athens, Greece. The duo, Stratos Morianos (keyboards) and Alexandros Mantas (guitars, flute) formed in 2012. Their first full album, Introspection (2018), was well received by progressive rock fans worldwide. It was an album cinematic in nature, coupled with elements from Greek music, 70s progressive rock and electronic music. After a five-year absence from the music scene, Residuos Mentales signed with OOB Records with their second full length album, A Temporary State of Bliss, Oct/2023; and back-catalog of Interspection reissue Jan/2024.
