Peter Bourbon is a multi-talented musician and composer, best known as the guitar slayer in Dutch hard rock and metal bands such as, Picture, Vengeance, and Faith Healer. Since 2020, his focus has been on, The B Legacy, and the upcoming 12-track, multi-genre rock album, Hope Rocks scheduled for release on OOB Records, (2025), preceded by the first single, Turn Your World, (June/2024). Peter started playing guitar at the age of ten-years old, and started his first band when he was fourteen. In 1982, he joined the Dutch hard rock band, Heartbeat, where he made his first recordings, followed by a tour of the Netherlands. In the mid-80s he started the metal band, Tightrope, which was well received, and signed to a record label in Germany, which endured many tours as opening act for: Raven, Paul Dianno (ex-Iron Maiden), Vicious Rumours, Dweezil Zappa, to name a few. His 90’s project bands were, Marylin Monrow and Radio Oranje, a Dutch language rock band; and Gunz n Rozes, a Guns n Roses tribute band, which toured Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands and Belgium in small venues and festivals topping six thousand fans.
In 2005, Peter Bourbon formed the Dutch rock band, Electro van Klooster, featuring Andrew Elt on vocals. It was during this time that Peter was asked to record on two albums and tour with the renowned Dutch rock band, Vengeance. Headlining festivals throughout Europe alongside the likes of: Axel Rudi Pell, Sinner, Y&T, and Uriah Heep. This lead to joining infamous Dutch metal band, Picture, where eight tracks on the album are credited to Peter Bourbon. After three years of touring, the band went on hiatus and Peter started his own project, Faith Healer, with the 2015 release of the highly acclaimed album, Back to Zero, which charted number one in many countries and was ranked among the ‘Best New Albums-2015’. In May 2019 Peter was diagnosed with cancer, which placed all projects on hold. In 2020, after receiving the news he was cancer free, Peter began a new solo project called, The B Legacy. When a 2023 checkup revealed the cancer had returned, rather than choosing to take it easy, Bourbon. took on his diagnosis with a vengeance and devoted his energy to finishing the 12-track album and preparing for ‘Hope Rocks Tour’, planned for when his health has returned, and 10% of tour sales to be donated to cancer research.
