Mark “Truey” Trueack is a visionary progressive rock vocalist and composer best known as the co-founder of Unitopia and United Progressive Fraternity (UPF). Since Unitopia’s debut ‘More than a Dream’ in 2005, Trueack has led a series of acclaimed releases including ‘The Garden’ (2008), ‘Artificial’ (2010), and the epic ‘7 Chambers’ (2023), blending symphonic rock with thought-provoking themes. With UPF, he channeled his passion for environmental and social activism through albums like ‘Fall in Love with the World’ (2014) and ‘Planetary Overload’ (2019–2023), using music as a platform for global awareness. Trueack’s collaborations span artists worldwide, from his work with ‘The Samurai of Prog’ to his solo EP ‘SAVE US’ (2025). His music has been featured in the Netflix series, Gymnastics Academy. At the heart of Trueack’s mission is a belief in music’s power to inspire hope, unity, and action—supporting sustainability and human connection through eco-conscious performances and cross-cultural artistic partnerships.
Mark has signed with OOB Records for a three album release, the first is a very intimate album of stories, experiences and adventures through music based around his life. Unlike previous projects (Unitopia, Romantechs and United Progressive Fraternity), Mark decided he didn’t want to tell these stories in a Progressive Rock format, instead he chose a different style using Jazz, Groove, Funk and World elements. Release date: Summer/2025 on OOB Records.
